Gary & Betty Wilkerson and Bernie & Wanda Emery

Bernie and Wanda Emery help assist with our weekly bookkeeping needs here at the church. Bernie and Wanda have been married for almost 63 years and live right here in Equality. They have been attending New Life Christian Center (previously Equality Christian Center) for 50 years. Wanda served a vital role here at Equality Christian School, whether it was teaching, cooking, or cleaning, she pitched in and did it all. Bernie serves as an elder and has been an elder for over 20 years. To this day, he still teaches our Men's D45 class. They have two sons that live in Kansas City and Indianapolis. 

Gary and Betty Wilkerson serve as the Secretary here at New Life. Betty and Gary met at a Church of God event in the late 80's, and they were married within six months of meeting one another! The two have been married for 38 years, and have been attending New Life Christian Center (previously Equality Christian Center) since 1997. Betty stepped into the role as secretary in 2018 and Gary has served as an elder since 2019. Gary and Betty are involved in many ministries here at the church, including our Prison, Nursing Home, and Walking Free Ministry.
